Shrimp and Andouille Grits
Ingredients
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cheddar, grated
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 handful parsley, chopped
- 3 green onions, sliced
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- ½ teaspoon thyme, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- ½ red bell pepper, diced
- ½ green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ pound shrimp, peeled and deviened
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- ½ pound andouille sausage, cit into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup grits/cornmeal
- 4 cups water
