Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 10 cloves
  • ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 ½ pounds large shrimp
  • 4 quarts water
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • ½ lemon, cut into 4 wedges
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 onion, cut through the root end into 8 wedges
    • ¼ cup Old Bay Seasoning
    • 1 pound boiling potatoes (about 3), quartered
    • 2 bay leaves

1. In a large pot, bring the water, garlic, lemon, Old Bay Seasoning, cloves, bay leaves, salt, and Tabasco sauce to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. 2.
