Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 ½ pounds medium-size raw shrimp
  • 2 (10 3/4-oz.) cans cream of shrimp soup, undiluted*
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 ½ cups uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

    • 3 celery ribs, chopped
    • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar-colby cheese blend
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • ¼ cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
    • 4 green onions, chopped
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
