Shrimp in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 ½ cups clam juice
  • ½ pound large uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 slice onion
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

Boil first 4 ingredients until liquid is reduced to 3/4 cup, approximately 25 minutes. Strain. Set aside. Heat oil in heavy medium skillet over medium-high heat.
