White Bean-and-Shrimp Crostini

  • ½ pound small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ cup drained canned Great Northern beans
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 8 (1/2-inch-thick) Italian bread slices, toasted (about 4 ounces)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 8 small fresh sage leaves (optional)

Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, and sauté 1 minute. Add garlic, and sauté an additional minute or until shrimp are done.
