  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream, plus 1 tablespoon for brushing
  • 1 cup (about 4 ounces) grated Cheddar
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 stick unsalted butter, chilled and cut into a 1/4-inch dice

Heat oven to 425° F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
