Classic Turkey Pot Pie

Ingredients

• 1 frozen pie crust - thawed or can use homemade
• 1 tablespoon(s) water
• ¼ cup(s) flour
• 4 cup(s) chicken stock - homemade or canned
• 2 cup(s) mushrooms - sliced
• 2 medium carrots - peeled and cut into ¼ inch thick rounds
• 1 onion - diced
• + 8 more ingredients
• • 1 tablespoon(s) fresh rosemary - chopped
  • 3 pound(s) leftover turkey or boneless turkey breast to be cooked - cut into bite sized pieces
  • 6 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon(s) fresh thyme - chopped
  • fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh parsely - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt

FILLING: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. If using raw turkey breast, add to butter and season with salt and pepper. Cook, turning once until lightly browned, approximately 10 minutes. Remove the turkey from the skillet. If using leftover turkey, skip the above steps. ...
