Wild Rice Stuffing with Wild Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 large onions
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ¼ cups long-grain white rice
  • 1 ¾ cups dried pears
  • 5 cups canned low-salt chicken broth
  • 1 1/3 cups wild rice
  • 3 teaspoons fresh sage
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 cup fresh Italian parsley
    • 3 tablespoons fresh thyme
    • 1 ¼ pounds assorted wild mushrooms (such as crimini and stemmed shiitake)
