Brine for Chicken and Turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 cup Kosher salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp whole black peppercorns
  • 1 Tbsp whole allspice
  • 8 cups ice
