Loaded Veggie Chili (With or Without Meat)

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 (1 ¼ ounce) packet chili seasoning mix (or use your favorite recipe)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes (using tomato sauce my make it salty)
  • 1/8 cup dry sherry
  • + 9 more ingredients
    • 4 medium tomatoes, diced
    • 2 medium carrots, grated
    • 1 medium zucchini, sliced into coins and then chopped
    • ½ teaspoon oregano
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 2 teaspoons chili powder, separated
    • 1 large sweet onion, peeled and chopped
    • 1 large green pepper, chopped
    • 1 lb lean ground turkey (omit for vegetarian chili)

1 Heat pot over Medium heat.
