Spaghetti With Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, plus more
  • ½ cup freshly grated asiago cheese or ½ cup parmesan cheese, plus more
  • 2/3 cup fresh breadcrumb
  • 1 white onion, finely chopped
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1 large egg
    • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
    • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
    • 5 cups canned crushed tomatoes
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 4 tablespoons olive oil

1 Make the Sauce: In a large nonstick skillet, heat 3 tablespoons oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic, and cook, about 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
