Teriyaki Ground-Turkey Skewers


  • 18 bamboo skewers, 12 inches long, soaked in water at least 30 minutes (to prevent burning)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 Red Delicious apple, with peel, shredded with a cheese grater
  • 2 ground turkey
  • ½ cup rice-wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dark sesame oil
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ½ cup honey
    • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
    • 2 tbsp shredded ginger

1. Combine ginger, soy sauce, honey, oil, garlic, vinegar, 1/2 tbsp water, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a blender.
