  • ¼ teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
  • 1 onion, cut into thin slices
  • 1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound turkey cutlets, cut into approximately 1 1/2-by-1/2-inch strips
  • ¼ pound green beans, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 ½ teaspoons dried sage
    • 1 ½ quarts canned low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock
