Ingredients

  • 1 (12-to 14-pounds) turkey
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup unfiltered apple cider
  • 1 small bunch thyme
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 apple

    • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
    • ½ stick unsalted butter
